ABOUT ME

Welcome to Farquharson’s Poodles & Doodles,

where we raise all our dogs and puppies in our home on a half acre, fenced in yard for our Parent dogs to roam free and play during the day weather permitted.

A little about myself

I native of Diebach, a small village in Germany where my love and passion for raising Poodles started. I have bred Poodles in my hometown for decades, but after I met my husband I married into a Military life. It was time to relocate to America and due to constant Military moves I had to give up what I enjoyed doing the most. Now that we are retired in a small town in Oklahoma I am honored to be able to involve my husband and my children with the same love and responsibility it takes to raise healthy and highly trainable puppies. Our goal is to breed for excellent health, longevity and temperament.

 About the Parents

We strongly believe that great puppies start with happy and healthy parents. All our dog parents are genetically health tested and temperament tested prior to breeding. We want our dogs to have a healthy and quality life. We feed our adult dogs Purina pro plan sport performance 30/20.

About the puppies

Puppies will be current and UTD on all vaccinations done by my veterinarian, they will also be dewormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks. Each of our puppies come very well socialized by my Husband and I along with our 4 children starting at an early age. Many pets hate loud, high pitched or sudden noises, our puppies are introduced to different noises like vacuum, garbage disposal, door bells, etc. We also play thunder noises from our TV so that thunderstorm anxiety is not too terrifying for your new baby. Our puppies are started on crate and potty training prior to going to their forever homes to ensure a smooth transition. Please remember your puppy is only 8 weeks old at the time of arrival to its new home and accidents will and can still happen. Below is a helpful chart on how to continue with your puppy’s potty training. We feed our puppies Purina pro plan puppy Lamb & Rice.
